Woah, I apologize everyone! I have completely vanished off of this site for a while. I was trying to keep up with all of the updates everyone was doing, but things got really busy with school and I just haven't had time to sit at dA and go through everything. With that, I deeply apologize. Anything you update with now, I will probably have the chance to look at.

Well what has been going on with me? A whole lot!

1. I finally chose my grad school. I am going to the University of Denver and I am soooo pumped to get started. I am moving out to Denver at the beginning of July. I have never been to Denver before, but I hear wonderful things about it!

2. I got engaged this weekend. Yes, I am completely serious. My wonderful boyfriend decided to ask me this weekend and I was so excited! We have actually been lucky enough to be accepted to the same grad school, so this makes two major steps for us! The wedding is not going to be for another two years or so, but we are excited nonetheless.

3. I am going to graduate in two weeks! This means that all those projects and papers are due around this time. Hence, why I have not been on recently. Things have started to slow down though, but I still have two finals and a research paper to finish.

4. (On a more depressing note) I got in a car crash last Sunday. It wasn't too bad, but my car was completely totaled. I was really depressed about it earlier last week. I felt really victimized because it was completely the other driver's fault and then I felt like I was the one punished because I lost my car. I felt like I should have been able to do more to prevent it from happening, but there was nothing I could do. The week improved though, and I have been slowly healing from everything. My parents were kind enough to find me another car quickly, and I am heading back down to my parents' home on Thursday to finalize buying the car. All in all, things did turn around for the better.

I guess that is all that I really need to update with! I will do my best to keep up with everyone's updates. Please be patient with me!

I don't really consider myself an artist. Sure, I dabble in some writing and take a few pictures, but my creative side tends to lack most of the time. Instead, I am mostly here to support the community that has developed here and promote the artistry of others. I work hard to comment often, view new submissions, participate in the "Help with Life" forum and engage in the dA community in all different ways.

Outside of dA, I am an undergraduate Psychology student hoping to move into counseling one day. I am about to graduate with my Bachelors and we will see where the future takes me...

Actually, the best expressions of loss I can think of are both from Futurama: the endings of "Jurassic Bark" and "Time Keeps On Slippin'". Groening's crew sure knows how to tug a heart.
